Here's another reason why I feel that Greco guitars will continue to grow in popularity among players and collectors alike.
Greco made many clones of original classic Gibson guitars throughout the 1980s and 1990s, and when they decided
which models to clone, they really took a look at what made the originals good and bad alike. In this case, Greco luthiers
knew that the Gibson Firebirds tended to be headstock heavy (due to the banjo-style tuners they had) and not quite as
easy to play as the less-prevalent '63 model with regular tuners. They studied what made the tone so special and what
made a good Gibson and copied it to perfection. This is my favorite guitar to play. Normally, I play only Fender Strats,
but this is a Firebird that was made for those of us uncomfortable with the sometimes awkward Gibsons. Personally, I
think this may be one of Greco's best-playing and most toneful guitars. It's all-original and I am proud to be able to show
it off to you. There are not many with this custom metallic blue finish, which is absolutely stunning. Enjoy the photos!
