This is the holy grail of vintage Japanese Yamahas... and what a package it is... a 1984 Yamaha SG-3000
in Metallic Black Sparkle. All original AND comes with the original hardshell case, 2 original pickguards
(the gold "professional" pickguard and the standard-issue black pickguard), plus hang tags and owner's
card, which are in the case and I forgot to show in the photos. They are all in there and are included.
The guitar is in 9/10 condition with almost no fret wear at all. The electronics covers on the back look a
little aged, but that's due to the fact that the original plastic covering is still on there! The plastic covers
are in mint condition underneath if you want to remove the brown protective covering. You can't get much
nicer than this, even with a new one. The finish and craftsmanship back then were very special and today
it would be nearly impossible to have one built to the standards this one was built to. A very special guitar!
